I did some digging around and came across some info. Ok so my drivers door on my 2013 golf won t open from the outside i pull the handle it feels loose won t release but from the inside opens perfectly fine. Hoping someone has some insight and can help me fix this issue. 28 10 2011 07 01 pm my passenger door wouldn t open from the outside and there was little no resistance when pulling on the door handle.

A few days ago without warning my driver s side door wouldn t open from the outside. On a passat thread that slamming the door a few times or punching near the door handle would re seat the cable mechanism and fix the issue. Prompted by this thread i did a bit of googl ing which led me to opening the window so i could work the indoor and outdoor handles at the same time.
